Giving you a little taste of what to expect from donna karan’s fall/winter 2014 collection.
At first glance i was actually a bit skeptical about this look, but for some reason i couldn’t get over it and i think its because it looks quite simple at at the same time every sophisticated with the right amount of sexy.
The models skin is sort of a background which brings out the patterns on the fabric quite beautifully. naturally i love my gowns to be classic with the va va voom factor, but i love this gown because there’s something about it i can’t get over, maybe its the black short shorts !! love it
Those heels are incredibly beautiful, no wonder Christian Dior is interested in the designer Francesco Russo, who has been approached my CD to work alongside Raf Simons and his team. Although Russo has not made his decision whether to move or not
For all those who aren’t familiar with Francesco Russo, he launched his eponymous footwear label in september and was formerly the creative director of italian shoe and accessory brand Sergio Rossi.
Never get tired of walking cuz you know everyones looking at your feet:
Pair this with a black leather pants, cuz as we all know leather is tots in this winter or glamour it up with an evening gown and a few shimmering accessories!! Fierce is an understatement
this would make a killer addition to anyones wardrobe!
instead of my usual fashion related post, i am dedicating todays post to one of the most inspirational men in history. your courage and boldness touched so many of us. Through you many found the power to triumph over hardship, poverty and discrimination. You taught us how to love and live together as one.
RIP to one of the greatest leaders of men in history Nelson Mandela
feeling a little nostalgic of old collections, so im going to give you a few show stoppers from past years , that i believe would still kill it on the runway today! which just proves that fashion is timeless and forever: the old becoming the new!
no 1: Dress “Lu-Lee-Sun” (final variant and not finished variant) from Christian Dior Haute Couture S/S 2007 by John Galliano.
no 2: Alexander mcqueen spring summer 2003!!
no 3: Dior Couture Book, Monika Jagaciak photographed by Patrick Demarchelier Christan Dior Haute Couture F/W 2004. This reminds me of beyonce’s mrs carter/bowdown intro
no 4 : Caroline Trentini Photographed in Nina Ricci for Vogue in 2007 by Irving Penn. the only thing i would do differently is to remove the headpiece cuz its deviates the attention from the amazing gown, then also trip off some of the feathers on the left shoulder to make it more flattering
omg ebosie i love your theme, where did you geddit?
Hey rhema!! Been a while. I got if from; free themes. Its called Fluid Neue. It’s an updated version so probably when you find the theme it will ask you if you want to update to a new version then just update takes less than a second and Btw the original background is black, I had to change it
